"There are people that wonder how organic production will feed the world. Today, people are starving due to social and economic conditions - not because of a too small food production. The solution is found in political and economical change and not in agriculture methods. However, in the long term, no agriculture will be able to feed an ever increasing population:

Do we want to feed 12 billion people for fifty years at the cost of massive exploitation of natural resources, loss of bio-diversity, environmental degradation ending with collapsing fertility of the soils?
or
Do we want to feed a somewhat smaller population for a long time in a sustainable way?

Organic agriculture, as we know it today, is the most sustainable kind of agriculture. Nevertheless, also in organics, there are a lot of improvements to be made"
