Peter Lustig
Peter started his organic career in 1988 with taking his first training course at the Agricultural University in Uppsala. Before his university experience, he practiced farm work in Sweden, Canada and Australia which convinced him that there must be a better way to do agriculture then the conventional way with use of pesticides. From the Swedish University of Agriculture he has a MSc in Agronomy with soil- and plant sciences as major and also computer training from his exchange schoolarship with Cornell University in New York State in USA. In 1992 he also acquired a degree as a agricultural teacher from the University of Uppsala in Sweden.
In 1989 he was hired to work for KRAV, the Swedish certification body. First as Certification officer of the food processing between 1989-1993. In 1994 he was appointed General Manager at KRAV until his resignation in 1998. He had then been part of a tremendous growth of KRAV and the organic sector as a whole.
Peter started to work with Grolink as a consultant and has remained since. He has experience in production, agroforestry, inspection and certification as well as management of training programmes and short courses. He has also worked with alternative banks and computer database development, which has been an added knowledge base he can use in some of the projects where Grolink is active.
In Grolink his focus lies with project management and management of training programmes and short courses.
