Organic Agriculture Development
The training programme will give theoretical and practical knowledge in important subjects for the development of organic agriculture in developing countries. There will be lectures, group works, seminars and study visits to cover the different subjects.
Main components of the curriculum:
- Standards and certification
- Supporting structures and policies
- Markets for organic products
- Production systems
- Program/project design and implementation
Throughout the training, each participant will work on a Development Plan for his or her own sector, region or country, . The Development Plans will be evaluated during as well as after the course, when it is implemented in the respective settings at home.
