The Organic Agriculture Development Training Program 2008
Program
- Phase 1: the preparatory phase, before participants come to Sweden
- Phase 2: July 25 th – August 19 th , 2008, in Sweden , with lectures, seminars, group works, individual work and study visits.
- Phase 3: an interactive phase with individual work and feedback from the course organizers.
- Phase 4: January 22 nd – February 4 th , 2009, in Uganda , with lectures, seminars, group works, individual work and study visits.
Target Group
Only applicants from African countries will be accepted for 2008 year's training program (ending Feb 2009). The target group is managers, in regional or national governmental institutions and in the private sector including NGOs, responsible for agricultural policy, rural development, market development, certification, extension, education and other supporting institutions. The selection is made using a number of criteria including good educational background, practical experience and relevant position. Participants must be fluent in English. Women are encouraged to apply. |
